Feed the Baby LLC accepts checks or cash at the time of the consult.*
The cost of a lactation consult may be covered by the client’s insurance company. You will be provided with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
Discounts and payment plans are provided for parents with incomes up to 185% of the federal poverty level.
*If the initial cost of a consult is prohibitive for your family, please contact me for a payment plan. It is important that the cost of lactation support does not present a roadblock in helping you to reach your breastfeeding goals.
Travel fees may apply if the consult takes place more than 30 miles from my home. Travel fees are not reimbursable by insurance.
$170 for initial home visit and follow-up. $255 for twins.
Ongoing phone and e-mail follow-up is included in the initial fee. In person follow-up visits are $120 and $180 for twins.
A prenatal consult is $100 and includes a private breastfeeding class in your home and a comprehensive care plan developed specifically for your breastfeeding concerns.
Complete Lactation Care Package
The cost for the complete lactation care package is $ 310* ($433 for twins)
$75 includes:
-1.5-2 hour class for you and your family members and one extra support person (doula, midwife, etc.)
-Follow-up questions answered by phone or e-mail, before and after the birth of your baby.
